i prefer freeze tag

so it's been my turn for a while, i guess it's go time. 6 things about megan elizabeth...

1) i'm sure most of my friends have figured this out by now, but i absolutely hate talking on the phone. i guess what i hate more is calling people. if someone wants to call me, that's fine, let's chat. when it comes to initiating the convo, i'm helpless. i thought that as i got older, i'd wise up and things would get better for me. nope ... still hating it. i know that there are so many times that i could be hanging out with someone or doing something, but picking up the phone seems like too much to handle. sissy.

2) i love asian people more than i love most things. their hair is fabulous and black. i want it badly. their ancient culture is so intriguing to me - they built the great wall of china for heaven's sake. let's be honest, their cuisine is simply the best and they don't even know it. i love their accents when they try and speak english, so funny and special. their fashion is sensational - they can pull off anything. oh, and they are smart too. always one step ahead of the game whether we like it or not. mulan is my favorite disney movie. i wish asia was closer, i'd be all over it.

3) if that whole second life thing was for real, i'd come back as kelly ripa. she's hands down the hottest thing to walk the earth (besides david beckham and jeff papworth, of course). she's talented, fashionable, funny, blah blah blah. love her!

4) i really love legs. when somoene has nice legs, i can't get over it. one of the reasons i was attracted to and love cute jeff so much is because i think his legs are perfectly shaped and well maintained. he hates them, but i just love them. weird. see, i'm not too fond of my own considering i need a little more calf muscle/tightness, but whatever. many of my friends have great legs. jealous.

5) i am so thrilled and excited to be a mom. i've dreamed about it for so long and watching the process take place is surreal to me. i'll admit that i'm scared. i'm the type of girl that needs to be at least a little confident that i will succeed before i try something new. there are so many unanswered questions that i lose sleep at night. i'm good at directions- haven't found them yet though. that set aside, watching the baby grow and realizing it only needs me, is amazing. not to mention that decorating the nursery, shopping and buying clothes is a highlight as well.

6) everytime i see a really old person my eyes tear up. jeff knows what i'm talking about because i always comment. whether they are struggling or not, for some reason i just can't take it. i just wish that i could help them and i get sad. i think that when i was young, i was kind of scared of old people. i suppose my fear has turned into compassion. or maybe i'm just scared of getting old myself. who knows. i don't know why i have such a reaction. i'm a softy i guess?
